Microsoft acknowledges crashing issue here
Fix is to install KB4018295 which came out earlier in March, but not unheard of for users who patch monthly to push the high priority office roll up first.
Uninstalling KB4011730 solves the issue, as well, if you're stuck, but the uninstall can hang for minutes in my experience.
Also noticed (and reported elsewhere) under uninstall updates for office 2013/2016 many copies of individual patches installed in March.
